About Chain Reaction
Based on the Sony Pictures Television format, the classic game show – which originally debuted in the 1980s – features two teams competing against one another to complete chains of words, after the first and last words of the chain are revealed. Each word in the chain is related in some way to the word directly above and below it. By making inferences based on the revealed words and the revealed letters in incomplete words, contestants try to fill in the word chains to win money. Actor and TV personality Dylan Lane, who originally hosted the show’s network premiere 14 years ago, returns to host.

the last speed round is a bit silly that the contestants need to keep requesting a letter underneath the word as part of the countdown. it caused a lot of trip-ups

Looks like Dylan's hair went the same direction mine did. Just not as quickly. But it's good to see him hosting this again, and this bonus round seemed a lot more fun.
Only change I'd make is to drop in letters automatically in the final round, rather than making them say where they want it. This would likely require longer chains or a shorter time limit to compensate, but players were tripped up by letters dropping in unexpectedly — this doesn't seem to be something the game is meant to test.
In the end Dylan lane always says at the end of the show Reaction time, times flies.
loved the original show. dylan seems to have less energy this time around. the game feels more serious than it did during his first hosting.
I hope it doesnt stay this way

The bonus round is 10x better. The old version involved forming sentences one word at a time to answer questions. This new version continues the tradition of word chains. And just like the 80’s version’s grand prize: $10,000. Kinda reminds me of America Says.

YESSS! I loved this game. So glad it's back and with Dylan! Great voice, Dylan.
I'm also loving the fact that he announces all the letters instead of just the first one. It helps me play along too since I'm blind and can't see the letter drop. Hope he keeps that up. it was ify in his first go-round as host. I like the end game much better this time, too.

It's cool they gave Dylan Lane another shot on Chain Reaction. His hosting skills have improved from the 06-07 version. Sidenote: I wonder if the set's blue and yellow color scheme is a tribute to the original with Bill Cullen 🤔

I dont think its a fair game, the boys answered the most questions yet they lost
me and my family used to watch the old chain reaction with dylan lane
before they died a year later and we used to wonder what happened to
the show i guess dylan gave up or was on a long break or whatever…….
& that's why rerun's where airing every so often if we where lucky that is

I can't believe that I know some more common English phrases than some American people who are native speakers…
