Don’t miss tomorrow’s finals:

The #RoadToParis2024 for park skateboarders will continue at The Spot Skatepark in Lido di Ostia, Rome, where the Park World Championships 2023 will take place from 1-8 October.

The event in will not only crown the next pair of world champions but also dish out valuable Olympic World Skateboarding Ranking (OWSR) points, which are key for those looking to make it to the Games in France next year.

Set to defend his title in the men’s contest will be Team USA’s Jagger Eaton while reigning women’s champion Sky Brown misses the competition with a leg injury. Among those set to challenge for the top are Olympic champions Keegan Palmer and Yosozumi Sakura as well as rising stars including Arisa Trew and Gavin Bottger.

The competition will begin with a men’s and women’s open qualifier which will determine the top 27 skaters making it through to the quarter-finals. There, the skaters who are pre-seeded owing to the OWSR will join the hunt. Just 16 skaters will make it through to the semi-finals before a final eight will be determined to battle it out for the podium places.

The format for the open qualifiers and the quarter-finals will be ‘best 45-second run’ from two runs before switching to ‘best hang-on run’ of three for the semi-finals and finals.

  1. The JUNGLE DRUMS music (NOT MUSIC) used over the replays is VERY annoying!!😡😡😤😤

  2. Jd was easy 85-87 no one doing that, risky af

  3. Guy tucked his shirt – what's going on?!

  4. Really wanted to see JD make it to the finals. His last run was definitely a bit underscored

  5. I just adore Bryce so much hugs to her I love her because of the positive energy and much love to her and Arisa so awesome throwing those 540s incredible park!

  6. JD got robbed. Were the judges sleeping?

  7. I don't know who's judging, but I strongly disagree with most of it.😮

  8. Mind boggling how they didn't give Jagger a 90 on his final run

  9. Aside from skateboarding and probably basketball too do other world class athletes avoid the Olympics just cause it’s not their thing.

  10. Gavins lines are too cool, he is the future of park!
I really liked the guy who did the blunt in the corner and then the guy that hit the nosegrind transfer and then the blunt (so smooth) on the spine at Mach 1!

  11. Scores were pretty much on point, love to see that in an important event like this! Didn't see qualifiers but I was wondering where Luiz Francesco was? He always gets shorted on scores, I hope he didn't get cut cause the judges didn't give him the scores he earned!
Judging is hard, I know, but there were 2 scores I disagreed with, the 86 for Wilson was LOW IMO for the kickflip body varial 540 I wld have gone 88 or 89, only a few pts but those are the few pts that really matter in the semis! He also had nosegrind transfer and a tailgrab 540 and a kickflip Indy all so fast too! Add in the heavy slam in run 1 and last run makes it…
Carew 89 was a little high but I'm not mad at that, also loved the blunt in the corner!
Jager scores were a little low but his runs were so repetitive, like on one hand I love how well he times the runs but wld love to see some change ups especially when he gets a full pull his first run, he was slaying tho!
REALLY AGREED WITH THE 1ST PLACE HERE THO, DUDE WAS FLYING SOMETHING SMOOTH!

  12. Did this announcer really say JD Sanchez came out of nowhere like he hasn't been on Braille for like 5 years lol

  13. I don't know who the judges are, if they are blind or not paying attention, someone explain to me how it is possible for JD Sanchez to have a run without mistakes or falls or doing the same tricks and still not manage to raise his rating, he feels like they were robbed from him

  14. 3h.19m.18 segundos el cartel alrevez 😂😂mazzarra
